What's Living In St Brelade Really Like?

Living in St Brelade is certainly the best option when choosing a parish in Jersey. It has some of the best beaches with the beautiful St Brelade’s Bay, voted one of the UK's nicest beaches. Furthermore its selection of restaurants, shops and activities make it perfect for all ages.

There are plenty of walking options with the cliff paths, the beaches and the railway track and for something more energetic there’s Quennevais Sport Centre, the Golf Club or tennis at Les Ormes. The railway track is perfect for a gentle stroll or a longer run without worrying about busy roads. While out on the railway track there is always the possibility of seeing some of Jersey’s varied wildlife. St Aubin’s offers restaurants, weekend markets, crafts and the opportunity to just sit and watch the boats in the marina. Or if you're more adventurous you can learn to sail at the yacht club. The parish is well served with bus routes so no need to add to the Island’s traffic congestion with a car and for a weekend getaway the airport is on the doorstep.

If cooking and healthy eating are essential, then there are some excellent farm shops in the parish selling local produce. Additionally, you can find international food offerings and a couple of convenient large supermarkets to cover the more basic necessities. Generally, life is peaceful and cheerful in St Brelade with plenty of different activities to engage in all year round. However, for those moments when a little more excitement is needed, St Helier is only a short ride away. Overall, there is no parish that compares to St Brelade, the scenery and amenities make it one of the most desirable locations on the island.
